THE LARZAC, THE MODEL OF GANTS UNIT THE FILIT

With 1.5 million sheep in Occitania it is 80% of the local wool that leaves abroad to be sorted, washed, knitted before returning to France. In order to reverse this trend, Maison Fabre and Made In Town have joined forces and have made the bet to relocate the linen sector in France.

From the tooth of the sheep to the weaving and knitting of the wires, to the sorting and washing of the towels and filtering operations, the glove model "LARZAC" encourages the rebirth of the French flaxses.

MAISON FABRE, FAMILY HISTORY
L’HÉRITAGE D’UNE PASSION ET D’UN SAVOIR-FAIRE D’EXCEPTION DEPUIS 1924

While he was forty years old, Etienne Fabre made a decision that would not only change his life but also that of his descendants: he would become Gantier. The legacy of Maison Fabre as a glove goes further than the foundation of the company. In 1909, Etienne Fabre then 25 years old was passionate about horse riding to the point of committing to become a Mounted Police. At the time, horses, horse cars, bicycles, boats and trains are the main modes of transport and everyone then has a pair of gloves: it is the revelation and the beginning of a family history that continues to write.
